Sorry to hear that! What system are you running it on? (If it's the Android version try the LOFI version instead)

Did you try both the 32 and 64 bit versions? And does it give any error messages or does it just close the application?

Very strange! This is the first such error I've heard of, does it freeze even before the menu shows? (The game starts with a blank screen and a rather long sound clip)

I'd really like to take a look at the file called output_log in the CarrotsAndCream_Data folder. If it isn't too much trouble you can mail it to me at dook@aergia.dk :)

I have the same error, it starts, I select the resolution / window mode, then the Unity logo appears. Then it crashes. Visual Studio 15 debugger attached to it says, there is an access violation;

  • Exception thrown at 0x00000001404E2FAC in CarrotsAndCream.exe: 0xC0000005: Access violation reading location 0x0000000000000006.

The output_log.txt says this; (File)

  • D3D shader create error for shader [0x80070057] vs_5_0

I tried googling, maybe related to not automatically falling back to DX9, if there is no compatible DX11 card? (Thread)

I tried Win64, on Win7 x64. Same with Win32

Thanks for the feedback! I'll check it out.

Alright, I think it's supposed to be fixed in the newer versions of Unity. I can't reproduce the bug myself, do you mind trying if this build fixes it? :)
