Did you try both the 32 and 64 bit versions? And does it give any error messages or does it just close the application?
I tried both of the versions. It doesn't give any error messages. I open it and after a few secs, it starts to not responding.
Very strange! This is the first such error I've heard of, does it freeze even before the menu shows? (The game starts with a blank screen and a rather long sound clip)
I'd really like to take a look at the file called output_log in the CarrotsAndCream_Data folder. If it isn't too much trouble you can mail it to me at firstname.lastname@example.org :)
I have the same error, it starts, I select the resolution / window mode, then the Unity logo appears. Then it crashes. Visual Studio 15 debugger attached to it says, there is an access violation;
- Exception thrown at 0x00000001404E2FAC in CarrotsAndCream.exe: 0xC0000005: Access violation reading location 0x0000000000000006.
The output_log.txt says this; (File)
- D3D shader create error for shader [0x80070057] vs_5_0
I tried googling, maybe related to not automatically falling back to DX9, if there is no compatible DX11 card? (Thread)
I tried Win64, on Win7 x64. Same with Win32
Thanks for the feedback! I'll check it out.
Are you Danish?
