Where can I follow the game's progress?

We give monthly text updates on IndieGoGo. We also have a general progress tracker and a writing tracker.

When will the game be released?

Whenever it's ready. We'll announce a release date once we're 2-3 weeks out.

Why is my or Boyfriend's name Hotdog/Mustard/Ketchup/etc.?

Because you didn't enter your own custom name. The game will randomly choose a name for you from a list we oh-so-cleverly came up with. And by us, we just mean the programmer, who thought it was hilarious.

What's in the base game and what's in the expansion pack?

The base game covers all content for the Flirt, Bad Boy, and Prince personalities. The expansion pack adds in content for the Thrillseeker and Fashionista personalities, including new scenes in the common route.

Hello,

We only send out the thank you notes once a week, usually on Saturday or Sunday. We just sent out this week's batch a few minutes ago.

If you still haven't received yours, please send an e-mail to anomalis.games@gmail.com with your boyfriend of choice so that we can re-send it from there.

Hi,

No, we don't have an estimated release date. Because we've yet to see an OELVN that was able to stick to its projected release date, we're holding off on even guessing until the game is in its final testing stages.

Hi,

For itch.io, the thank you notes were only available to those who specifically purchased their pre-order from the Letter-post special campaign (which sold out about two weeks ago), or who purchased the game in the Otome Pre-order Double Pack. The former received surveys through itch.io after their purchase to enter which note they wanted, and the latter must manually e-mail in their choices to anomalis.games@gmail.com

From the same page, we really can't say. Itch.io doesn't seem to cover that in their FAQ. We were under the impression that it was, but at least one person said they could not, but that might've been anecdotal. Regardless, post-release, we'll look into just making a stand-alone purchase for the expansion so anyone who's bought just the base game can grab that without any issues.

Short question about your indi(e)go(???): Are you on Patreon, because my problem is, it doesnt accept my EC-Card (Number on the Card is too short, i dont know) and iam not willing to get a Creditcard, just for one game

No, there unfortunately isn't an Anomalis Patreon. SSWK may be added to other storefronts post-release, however.

The IndieGoGO campaign is closed. However, we will likely sell a number of extra postcard packs at a later date. If we do, an announcement will be posted on the itch.io page.

For the base game, yes, you can generate your own Steam key on the itch.io store page now. The expansion keys will need to be sent out individually by us at a later date, however, but we'll do that before the expansion is actually released anyway.
