Hi! I'd like to know if a Steam key will be provided later if one purchases G&G here and now.

They said we will get a full release key if we buy the game now, but i didn't see about Steam.

I would suppose yes, so far i didn't buy any game on Itchio that didn't also provide Steam key later if applicable.

Tchey is quite correct. Our last blog post wasn't entirely clear because we were still figuring out whether we could provide Steam keys through itch.io.

It looks like we can, so yes! If you purchase the game here, you will get a Steam key when they become available.

Hi Willsama,

Re-posting this here from Steam. The Steam keys are on their way, and should be available very soon!

We'll make a post with an updated guide as soon as they become available. In the meantime, this guide from the Clone Drone In The Danger Zone forum seems to cover the correct procedure to obtain a key once they become available: https://itch.io/t/67604/how-to-get-a-steam-key-from-your-itchio-purchase

You can, of course, also obtain the latest version of the game here on itch.io right now!

Edit: Your save file also carries across from here to Steam, it appears! Which is cool, and totally an intended feature that I was aware of before just now. ~ Daniel

Update: You should now be able to request a Steam key if you have purchased the game here on itch.

Hi, quick question!
I loved the Steam demo and want to buy your game. If I buy it on Itch, do I still get a Steam key now that it's at 1.0? I'd rather support your team here where you get more money, but honestly forget about games that are not in my Steam library.
