That is quite fascinating game. I'm not sure why but I find it intriguing.

It's a bit hard to judge and rate because you said yourself you had trouble and almost couldn't finish it and stuff like the tutorial is missing, but I like the overall idea of the game.

The levels or the art style in general look really nice, although the wood theme is a bit hard to get. Maybe if the trees would look more like they were made out of wooden planks and painted or something like this it would work better.

I played it with a gamepad and the controls were fine. The character was a bit hard to control, it even shot me out of the are when hitting a rock at the wrong angle, but I had no problem running around and chopping every single tree down. The Interface although was a bit confusing. Maybe it's because there is no progress in unlocking stuff. You see a huge inventory right from the start so it's a lot to take in.

What I really like is that you simulated nature meaning the trees and bushes slowly grow and that there is persistence. I really expected to have to do everything again after closing the game and was surprised that everything was saves. Nice!

I think I unlocked all levels and played them all a bit, but I did not manage to collect all resources yet to unlock anything in the tech tree, not sure what awaits me :)

What I enjoyed was the zen like nature of the game. Ok, I can drown, but there are no enemies, at least I didn't see any, and it's just me and my axe and a lot of stuff to chop.

If you decide to finish and polish it a bit after the jam is over I would totally check it out again.

Well done!

I am pleased you noticed the save. It was a bit of a mind melt and in truth is the reason everything else is a bit rushed. We were very ambitious. If you upgrade the water your character gradually gets better at bouncing off of it. You only sink if you lose momentum once thats on. Also the wall upgrade house only actually has 2 levels. The first stops you falling off the map and you bouce off of it. The second warps you to the other wall of the map asteroids style. We will definitly fix it all up as it is not too much work to correct most of it. Just going to do my Jam duty and play and rate as many as I can before it closes. Then it's all polish baby. We did not get time to put the wolves in but I might make them too. They should be fun.

Oh, now I understood how the upgrades work. I checked it out again in the game and now I get it. Every level has a different upgrade. Level 1 is the water bounce, Level 2 the axe, and so one. I see. So you basically jump between world, collecting stuff, upgrading your character, go to another world where you can not collect stuff easier. Nice. I'll keep an eye on the post jam updates ;)

I just realised we were playing each others at the same time. Yours is my current favorite game. Its epic. Re the wood. It's not just the trees, the water texture and floor art is all adapted wood grain. WOOD WOOD WOOD!!! That has been my brain for 10 days

Oh also the rocks are super bouncy, they are a hazard for sure but until you realise it they feel like a glitch. The post jam version will have some refinements now that we have actually played it properly. The playtesting of the final version got swapped with rapid bug hunting!

I noticed the rocks, they are quite tricky but I'm sure with some tweaking these issues can be solved.

Post jam is up and much improved. So pleased you won

Thanks! :) I'm still working on my post jam update. When I'm finished I'll check out your game again. I curious to see what changed.

Sounds like a deal. Please flag your post jam. I would be happy to stream my first play if that would be useful to you?

Sure, this would be nice. I'm just doing a couple more play throughs and then later today I will upload it :)

Great. This week is good for me. I look forward to it.
