This game was so funny. I love all the NPC names so much, all the character designs were great, and I discovered a lot of cool new music from the soundtrack. Love the balance of silliness with semi-serious lore too. A+++ game, no complaints.
i feel like it could be fairly likely for some characters from this to show up in later games, seeing as three man was from mega man sprite game, and there are actually a lot of cameos from mega man sprite characters in some of her other games> it'd be so funny to, like, see franken and the protagonist on their honeymoon just randomly in some future game in a few years or something>
i just like it is all, i've been using it for decades! i never enjoyed making things with RPG maker. i couldn't figure out how to get my own graphics into it and gave up. OHR has a unique flavour.

Put this up as donationware, crowdfund for a more polished/longer version please as this reminds me a lot of 'Doom & Destiny' style deconstruction of RPGs but better :)

I've read through the comments and installed libsdl2_mixer-2.0-0 already, is there anything I'm missing??
i'm afraid i don't know anything about linux so i'm unable to offer help myself, but you could try downloading the latest Nightly Version of OHRRPGCE and running franken.rpg with it! http://rpg.hamsterrepublic.com/ohrrpgce/Downloads

I'm having the same issue. I'm on Ubuntu but I can't figure out how to install sdl2_mixer. I tried downloading it through the terminal but it's telling me it can't find the package. I might just have the wrong package name but I can't find anything on google. Assuming it can be downloaded through the terminal, what is the correct package name?
hello! i downloaded the mac version, but whenever i try to open it, i get an error message that says i do not have permission to open the application “franken.” do you any way to get around this? thanks!

there's a file called "music listing.txt" that has the names of all the songs used in the game! you can also download the latest nightly version of OHRRPGCE and extract the songs if you want.

yea you press ESC to access the main menu and it's there.
oh i literally thought there was no menu because i tried pressing x and c which i'm used to in rg maker games
but i guess off uses escape also so maybe i'm just dumb>
