Straightforward mechanics introduced gradually built up to a great boss fight! Really solid from start to finish!

Nice little game, the execution is clean, and while it took me some attempts to figure each stuff out, it all did its job well in the end, leaving me wanting more.

That was pretty fun !

The environment, weapons and enemies feel connected. The different weapons make you think about what to use while still beeing fast paced.
It was a bit unclear on how to beat the boss though.

Cool arcade game that can easily be extended with more weapons and enemies !

Fun game :)

It took me at least 5-6 attempts before I figure it out. The theme matched everywhere, one time use weapons, one time kill enemies. Also liked that fact that you start from the same level as you died :)

Great concept. It was fun figuring out the right order for the boss fight. The sword was a little awkward as it felt like it should have registered a hit but didn't. Other than that, lots of fun!

Great game! Cool concept, cool levels, very fun, and despite having only 3 items, each of which you can only use once, I found that there were multiple solutions to many of the levels, as the items have overlap in what they can do (sword and shield can block the robot jump, all three can deal with rocks, etc). The only thing I would've liked is a bit more attention to visual appeal (the skybox was not doing it for me). Overall though, fantastic game, and great work!

Thanks, I’m glad that part turned out fun. The multiple solutions weren’t part of my idea, but it just became this way as I was creating the boss after I already made the 3 weapons. It was honestly the part I enjoyed the most while testing everything, since it allowed me to try out different solution and keep it interesting for myself.

I definitely agree on the visuals. I have to admit that I didn’t know how to make it more interesting. In the end, the boss is just kinda floating around you. So I was thinking about making something like a tower under the player, but then you still need something in the background to make it more interesting. Maybe I could’ve just made some random mountain ranges with the unity terrain? I’m not really a modeler, but those are easy and fast to make.

I liked the idea, I couldn't get past the part where there are 3 weapons, first they throw 5 stones at you that you can stop with the shield, but then the enemy attacks you jumping from above and I can't hurt him with the sword or with the cane In any case a pretty cool concept, good incorporation of the theme of the Jam!

Yeah, not all weapons affect everything. Although the sword slash can hit the boss when it’s doing the jump attack mid air, so that should work. I can see how that is not fully clear though.
