This was pretty fun! Having the gun change regularly make the game quite spicy, and the different kind of enemies are interesting to fight. The last level is especially interesting, and satisfying to beat.

Perhaps the game is "too balanced" though? Most of the powers are efficient, but not overkilled.  So it never changes the way to play. In the end, I just shoot bullets at enemies. If they do greater damage, or are more precise, whatever, it just means it'll go quicker. I wish I would feel more the change, and that each new weapons would force me to think about how to use them.

But it was still a fun shooter in the end, with a nice twist and a nice visual and sound atmosphere. Good job!

That is some great feedback!

I never thought about it but now that you told me, this is the only thing I can see xD

I don't know if there is an easy fix for that problem... Maybe I could limit the number of times you can roll the dice, forcing you to be more careful with whhat you do. But this does not match with my initial idea of forcing the player to think quickly and adapt constently. Maybe it's the powerups I made that are not fitting well with this design. I feel like the stepback modifier that send you backward when you shoot and the explosive bullets that can cause you damage if you are caught in the explosion are the one that are the most interesting and really pushes you to adapt.

If I find a solution, I will put it in the update I will make once the rating period has ended.

Thanks for playing and for sharing your thoughts!
