How does your game fit the theme?
Collecting dice pieces can change your current ability, though this isn't very creative. The game is buggy and unpolished.

I like the concept quite a lot with each level having multiple ways to finish it with the abilities, could be a cool full game if more content and polish is added. The graphics are simple but definitely not bad! I did find a weird behaviour with the dash in that you lose all velocity after using it. I also think that in-air movement could be bumped up a bit too. This could be one of those really fast movement games with the player needing to react to the abilities given fast and adapt.

The game looks good (especially the colors) and the camera effects are cool. My biggest problem with the game is that the abilities are kinda hard to use (except for the double jump). But the dice and their animations look really nice and the re-spawn screen looks good too. Also, don't be hard on yourself. We all start somewhere. Just take what you learned from this jam and apply it to future ones :D

Ok so first of all, you should not present your game by calling it crappy or buggy (even if it is it can spoil the first impression, you know), we've all been here, 3d games are, at least in my opinion, harder to make and polish than 2d games. So, about the game: 3d platformer is a cool idea, i think there are no troubles with level design here. Yes, the controls can be weird sometimes but thats alright:). I loved the fact that the collectibles that are used to complete a level give you random abilities, thats actually a really cool idea. This way player has to make desicions based on luck, which sometimes is kinda not friendly. It took me some time to figure out how Wall climbing works, but now that i understand, it feels really satisfying! I liked the "death" and "next level" screens, the pitch+slow filter on music is a good decision. One thing that is not ok i think is lost progress, after completing the first level and dying on the second i need to replay the first one again, maybe a checkpoint of some kind, or a menu with level selection will help. Also I liked the camera "'iveliness", the way it wiggles around makes it alive you know. Overall, really good idea and the emplementation is nice, keep up the good work and do not belittle yourself and your work, everyone has a chance in these jams!:)

I like the concept that's happening here. However, this kind of game feels like it should be prone to moving fast through a level. I can very much envision this being a speedrun friendly game. That said, the player controller has got to be super super tight. I had lot of problems with collisions and sometimes the special ability failed to execute. This can be a fun concept but it still has a way to go. As it stands right now it was a little frustrating to play. Dying is frequent (and to be expected) but you want the dying to come from the player not performing the skill well enough rather than something breaking.

Is it just me, or is the dash ability simply non-functional? Similarly, the wall-climb doesn't seem to allow me to climb up the wall, just cling to it and then jump off of it (but not up it). Hopefully, I'm just bad at the game. Aside from that, I like the look, sound, and overall feel of it. I like how the layout seems to simultaneously accommodate the different abilities that one might get. One isn't accosted by an unwanted roll; one just has to adapt to what's been given.

I had the same issue with climbing, the trick here is that you need to jump to another wall or the same wall (in the direction that you are looking at) while latching. Took me some time to realise xd. Dashing works on Shift and is kinda dope ngl.
