Very cool game! The graphics were great, I especially liked the spaceship and it's blasting! Loved the movement of the game. Nice job

I love exploration in games, but in game jams, I don't expect to scratch that itch. Yet here was "The Edge of Space"

I had an absolute blast jumping from system to system, racing to gather resources, then moving on to the next one, never totally sure if I'd make it. It was fun to just to see what what out there in this little galaxy.

I also really enjoyed watching my ship go from being small and clunky to being a devourer of worlds (well, at least their rings :p).

I also appreciated the 10 minute window for the first system instead of 5. It gave a nice chance to get a feel for the controls and systems before being put into the heat of the game. Good design there! I ended up reaching Safety in just over half an hour

Overall, had a lot of fun in the relaxing atmosphere of this game! :D

I had a sibling playtest the game and they ran out of time in the first system and stopped playing so I guess it goes to show PLAYTEST YOUR GAMES! I doubled the time in that system after that so players could get a feel for the janky controls haha

There is no connection to the theme but warping to other systems is very well. It made the game world feel big after seeing it. Nicely done!
