It is a really cool concept, with well thought out mechanics, and very nice visuals. I unfortunately think it falls a bit apart in the matchups. The randomness is a bit too harsh, and they can be very tedious to sit through. One suggestion I have is to make it so the plague doctors can't heal themselves, I think that would do a lot for balance. Another is to tie the number die to something other than heal amount/damage amount/etc., since the difference between landing a 1 and a 6 is very big. Or maybe make the upgrade that changes it to a d7 also remove the 1 side? I dunno, but I think it is a really cool concept, and it is a bit of a shame that the combat was slightly unenjoyable.
