I think the game is being a bit glitchy?

there is a giant white ball that's covering the entire center of the screen.

i'll try again with the index.html one and see.

just loads indefinitely it seems. guess might try pushing it through proton maybe instead of my systems default wine installation.

nope XD wont launch *shrugs* guess i'll keep trying this till i figure out what it is.

Are you using Linux? I'll ask around and see if my friend was able to make it work

ya, i'm running linux, gentoo to be specific.

it looks like it seems to work with wine using the Game.exe except for the visual glitches ,

there is like some weird white lines that appear just after exiting the first building but their very faint and easily ignored.
just after entering the main building for the first time there is a white orb and a ?battle? , the white orb stays covering the screen afterwards making it impossible to see anything.
oddly if i start i new game without rebooting the entire game first the white orb is still there in the new game, this is really the key point when i realized this white orb isn't actually suppose to stay there XD.

let me know if there is any details you'd need, i've uploaded a video recording of the issue as unlisted, hoping this will clear up what the issue is better than i can describe it XD.

The suggestion was to update the drivers of your windows OS. If that still doesn't work, try the Steam version.

i'm not running windows so i can't update the drivers for windows.

will check to see about the steam version though, didn't know that was a thing, i was adding it as a non-steam game before to test the proton.

Yeah, it's on Steam! I use Linux myself, and I've had issues under Wine using both Arch and Mint, specifically a lack of sound. But using the Steam version with Proton seems to work just fine, even uses the desktop environment's windows instead of Wine's Windows 7 borders

That big ball in your video looks like some tiny asset that's been enlarged, but that's all I know. I'm going to fire up Lawmage Academy under Wine again and see if I have the same issue.

Also Gentoo nice!

I didn't suggest he update his Windows drivers... If he's running Linux he isn't running Windows...

Oh yeah I looked into past bug reports and one of the suggestions that popped up was to update the drivers. I didn't know you can't do that in Linux. :(
