Great job, really enjoyed it! Good execution and fun gameplay. If you work on it more in the future, it might be nice if you could move the tiles while others were dropping, as when the level gets faster this takes up most of the time.

Cheers Beardy, thanks for playing! Yeah the moving-while-dropping thing caused a LOT of bugs when I tried it initially, and so it was easier to just not allow that rather than to actually fix the problem ;) The levels don't actually get faster - you simply have less moves before the next drop. You could leave it standing for hours and no more blocks would fall until you moved a piece. From level 6 you start to get multiple lines per drop, so it becomes more difficult.

ah ok I didn't realise it was move based! I will have another go with that knowledge in mind! (I probably didn't read an instruction somewhere about that)

There wasn't any instruction, to be fair - though there is a movement counter above the drop button that indicates the number of moves left. I'm not 100% happy with the UI and I think it needs to be overhauled as that and the combo modifier aren't very clear.
