I like this idea, but I think the in-browser version might be bugged? I clicked Play and all it did was let me move around while the menu and stuff are still locked on the screen. Also as long as I'm playing it, my character seems to be constantly spinning. I assume that's not supposed to happen.

If you can patch this up and if the downloadable one is a standalone game to play, I'd love to come back and check this out!

Hit ESC at the beginning to close the menu - I had the same problem in both the browser and Windows version :)

Like rotub said, hitting escape once or twice after one another should close the menu. In the windows version only one escape should be necessary. The mouse cursor may appear but clicking the window will disable the movement of the cursor. Since it's a jam game I currently can't change it, but once I can it should be fixed. Sorry for the inconvenience!
