Great work! Loved the creepy atmosphere, the enemies had a nice design and movement rig, and I was very happy with how it went overall. Can't wait to see the full game!

Great job on this one. Loved the atmosphere, and it was pretty fun overall to just play through. Definitely ended it wanting to have rat hunting to do!
I did come about a couple of bugs; specifically, at the ending, I somehow managed to break the game so I couldn't press the button. Not sure how that happened, but something to keep in mind for any future projects.
Keep up the great work, you have a solid core understanding of game design, and I can't wait to see what you do next!
Loved playing through this one! I'm curious, I finished off the autopsy on the 2nd victim and then couldn't progress any further, is there something I missed? Great work with the horror and visceral discomfort though, I'd love to see more of this, it worked out amazingly well. Nice work and can't wait to see what other games you all end up making!
This was far more fun than I expected it to be. Creepy atmosphere, good sound design, some wonderful spooks and overall it was a great experience. Some minor nitpicks/personal preference stuff aside (like VHS filters), I'd definitely recommend this to anyone who wants a good indie horror. Great work, can't wait to see what else you make!
This was a fun game to go through. Great atmosphere, some nice tension, and one of the few examples of indie games that I've really liked the scanline/VHS effect. You did a great job with this one, and I'm happy I bought it.
A couple things I'd suggest:
Trial and error puzzles only work when you give the player a clear indication on when they're making progress. It took me a long time to figure out both of them through random chance, there needs to be noises that indicate "good" or "bad" uses, or have stuff light up when you make progress.
The random pop up jumpscares are basically the worst element of game design. The moments where you see a arm around the corner, or the aliens standing there in the flashes, those were great. Randomly having a MIB or a Grey pop up with a loud noise almost made me walk away from the game because it's not even scary, it's just spitting in the players face.
Keep up the great work, I can't wait to see what you do next. I'll definitely be checking it out!
Hey there! I tried to download the game, but it doesn't look like there's a game file to run it. There's a Engine folder, a HorrorGameSeries folder, a locked Enigma folder, and a HELP notepad file with the credits. Can you please check it out and let me know if I'm just missing it?
Thanks! Look forward to try it out!
Hey there! This looks pretty fun and would love to play it, but I think it's exclusively set up for AZERTY keyboards, so it's not really playable on a QWERTY setup. Would it be possible to include a toggle to swap them, or allow us to change the keybinds?
Thanks for uploading and hope to be able to check this out!
This was just a great experience, through and through. I loved what you did with the game, it was a nice balance of tension and challenge. There's a few small bugs and some stuff that could be polished up if this actually is just a demo for a bigger game, but your team knocked it out of the park.
Great job, keep up the good work, and I can't wait to see what else y'all make!
This was pretty fun! Nice atmosphere, fairly standard indie horror overall. Definitely had me on edge.
I did encounter a weird bug where the game loaded me into the room with the enemies instead of telling me to run away, so that might be worth looking in to; and maybe in the future, a little more balancing to the audio of the jumpscares.
Otherwise, great job and keep up the good work! Hope you keep on making games!
Hey there! Game looked great but I encountered a critical bug, the game would not allow me to light the candles. I tried re-launching it a couple times, but never seemed to work out. Seems like we should be able to after picking up the piece of paper on the floor.
Hope you can figure it out and keep working on games, can't wait to see what else you make!
This was pretty well made. Short, sweet, to the point. Did what it set out to do and kept a nice atmosphere up.
The only real "issues" I'd be able to point to are personal taste: I'm not a huge fan of scanlines and pixel filters. Otherwise, great job and can't wait to see what else you come up with!
This was a lot of fun! The 1:30 timer kept the tension up, and it was pretty tough to find a few of the items. I'd love to see a more expanded variant of this idea, maybe one that has a few different routes to take depending on thought process. Extremely tough to do though, but you have a great core gameplay concept here. Solid 9/10 overall and can't wait to see what you do next!
This was pretty fun! I'm looking forward to learning more about the world and what's causing the Hum, why did it suddenly appear, and how can we stop it?
One thing I'd like to see adjusted in the game is a little bit of an easier time seeing things. I spent a few minutes wandering looking for stuff like the coins, it might be nice if they're a little brighter or have some sort of effect to make them more visible
Great job though, keep it up and can't wait to see more!
Thanks for dropping by and checking out the video, developers! This was a lot of fun, I liked the low poly atmosphere, the scares definitely nailed it and got me, and the overall feel is pretty well done. Short, sweet, to the point and very functional. Keep up the good work and I'm looking forward to what you do next!
This was exceptionally well done. Loved the atmosphere, the audio quality, the overall feeling was one of the most tense experiences I've had from a game in ages.
The only real issues I had were the ending, which feels a little lackluster, and that you progress the story by standing in front of scripted objects.I'd love to see you make a bigger game using inspiration from the original Blair Witch or other VHS found footage horror. Keep up the great work and cannot wait to see what you do next!
This was a great game! I loved playing through this, it ran well, the puzzles were mostly a nice balance of exploration and logic, the atmosphere was nice and it lasted just the right amount of time. This is one of the better indie horrors I've played of late and I had a absolute blast for the most part.
A couple of things I did want to bring up that I felt were a little frustrating or maybe would benefit from a rework, based on my own experience.
1: There is a puzzle involving statuettes that you have to line up, but telling exactly what was where in the room was a little tough. It may help to up the lighting in that room somewhat, or add light sources.
2: There's a sequence where you have to crawl through a tunnel system to get an item for a puzzle. I don't mind the tunnel, but some of the incorrect paths go on a bit far. Combined with the slow crawl speed, it was a little annoying.
3: Without spoiling, the ending sections seem to have a balance problem with stamina. It seems like you run out way too quickly, and then you can be insta-killed if you made any mistakes. Maybe just me, but that may benefit from a rework.
All that being said? Highly recommend this game. Loved playing it, well worth the time and I'm 100% keeping an eye out for other games you've made. Great work and keep it up!
Fun and tense little game! Puzzles were interesting, liked the atmosphere and it definitely made me a bit nervous.
Only real "issue" is that finding one of the items for an early puzzle took me a bit, and another one later on felt like it was gonna murder me if I did the solution. But that can be explained by me being dense.
Keep up the great work!
Surreal, creepy, but fairly entertaining. This was a strange game set in a strange world with strange occupants, but it didn't do anything too poorly and I had a lot of fun with it.
Only real "complaint" is that you lose your pistol ammo if you reload the gun. That did make getting the 2nd ending a bit difficult.
Keep up the great work and can't wait to see what you do next!
Great job! I love snowy settings, and this had a nice balance of tension and atmosphere. Extremely enjoyable game, and I hope you keep on making new stuff. Did exactly what it
needed to do and did it very well.
Thanks for coming by to check out the video too! Keep me in the loop for your next project!
