My game can't be found

Hello.

Its been more than 40 hours since I uploaded my project "RiverHill" and made it public. But it still isn't showing in the recent games or games tab and not even when i search it by name.

I even got this massage from itch.io around 35 hours ago...  Hello adasdd, congratulations on publishing RiverHill to itch.io. "

The game is completely free and don't have any price tags.

Can anyone please tell me what is causing the problem. I really need to get the game published here. Please help me if you can. I will be extremely grateful

Unfortunately we are likely to start unlisting certain projects that use external hosting for files, since we are unable to scan them for viruses. Please upload your game directly to itch.io if you wish for your project to be eligible for indexing.

Additionally, please read the rules of the board before opening a topic. Since you did not read the rules I am closing this topic.

Please don't lie, your project was published less than a day ago. That's public information, anyone can see it.

Also, that was during the weekend, when our staff is less active. Please wait.

Edit: in the mean time, you can promote your project through any other means, since it's published and fully functional otherwise.

Have you tried the project's public address, as shown on your profile?

Yeah. That way, it can be seen. But it doesnt show up on the recent games tab or even on the games tab. How are players who dont know about my game public address or game name, will find it?

You could talk to people, both here in the community, and on social media. Make release announcements and devlogs. Stuff like that.

Not every player see the devlogs before going to the games tab. I just don't understand what is causing the problem. I have previously uploaded a game through another account  and such problem didn't occur. 

Can u please at least tell if the problem can be solved or not? if yes, how long will it take? 


Or if I create another account and upload the game through it. Will it work then?

Yes, of course the problem can be solved, it just takes a few days, as explained in the Search & Browse FAQ that we ask everyone to read first. I just told you repeatedly that you created the game a day ago, on a weekend. And no. If you create another account you'll still have to wait in line. Again, please wait.
