This is great writing.  "grind time baby" I find the start very funny that you can go back to Aldus to make your own love. I didn't think many people would choose Damien, so I find it super interesting to see others interpretations of him. Congrats on your entry! It's a very fun read!

Developer

Thanks so much for playing and commenting, GGladam. I agree that it's interesting to see the similarities and differences in how creators interpreted the characters. Cheers -

I really enjoyed reading this! Deus' writing is so good! He's easily one of my fav characters from the jam!

Developer(+1)

Thank you, there's a soft spot in my heart for Deus. Glad to hear you enjoyed the character too. I appreciate your comment!

Great writing
I know that text adventures aren't as "flashy" as games with combat or whatever but I really hope this does well

Developer

Thank you for commenting! I wish I had the talent and knowledge to make a game with visuals, music and combat. But for now, even scripting a text adventure bends my brain.

This is some great writing! Love the genre diversity to come out of this jam. I got the Alone in the Lovebot Shop ending lol. Definitely want to go back and see how different the other paths are. It'll be fun to see what Kyle picks in the stream.

Thank you so much! I appreciate you sharing which ending you received. Curious to see if Kyle has a good time or not.

This text adventure game is fantastic. It drew me in like a moth to a flame. Loved it!

Developer(+1)

Moth to a flame! Really appreciate the compliment. Just saw your game on stream. Very nice aesthetic. Love the red color pallet. Interesting riddle too. I had never heard of the roses riddle before.

Didnt expect something like this, but very welcome and very cool

I'm nothing if not unexpected. Thank you so much for playing/reading.

Hey all! I haven't quite finished up the story as of 12:00AM June 4th, but wanted to make sure I shared it with the Jam before time runs out. I'm going to continue working on it over this weekend to hopefully have a more complete version by Monday's stream. The game's a silly text adventure about Damian and a mysterious god of love traveling through time. There's quite a few different endings even with 3 of the main story paths still incomplete. Let me know if you have any scolds or praises, and I'll try to implement your feedback into the final piece. Cheers everyone! Can't wait to play your games.

*Deeply inhale* *And exhale*

The story is now finished and uploaded! Like always, I know there's typos and some awkward sentences, but I'm calling it good enough. I had a lot of fun writing and planning this story. Bosman and chat created some truly goofy characters.

I really got into writing these interactive fictions in Ink over the last year, and this marks my third completed Ink game. I can't wait to jump into everyone's projects. As I mentioned previously, I'd love to hear your feedback.

And if you only clicked into my page for the beautiful thumbnail art, consider giving my awesome brother, Joe, a follow on Instagram @byombu. He also designed my profile picture here on itch (fans of last year's game jam might recognize the character).

Love and Respect, and happy E3 season,

Jacob
