I liked the idea. But the game did not work for me. Probably because I'm really bad at it. Anyways, I'll give praise for the concept.

Huh? I can walk through corners, what kind of heresy is this? And as I expected that means attacking diagonally through a walls works too. And no running through corridors until something interesting? While I'm slightly disappointed those are quite understandable as things to cut due to time constraints. Overall great game and like it a lot, especially the atmosphere that the sounds and graphics wonderfully make.

Non-rectangular rooms don't seem to always reveal properly in the map. Not sure how I feel about the way going above max hp using herbs works, I expected max hp to increase instead of only current hp, I suppose if it did getting full hp on level up might be too good.

Wow, that's awesome! Really impressive aesthetics, definitely nailed the ambience. The gameplay is rather simple but I believe you focused on the aesthetics instead, which is fine. Good job!

I love the ps1 style graphics! That's an artstyle I need to try for my next game. I also love the sound design and the UI styling.

The main issue I have is that it took me quite a bit to figure out the gameplay. I thought the enemies were just ridiculously fast before I realized they were moving in turns when I moved. I wish there was a more clear tutorial, because once I figured out the turn based combat and the inventory, I was having a great time! The enemies were definitely hard, but in a good way. Using the herbs and the good weapons made it doable. My best game I got to the green area and made it to level 4 before I died. Also I noticed the max HP wasn't doing anything because I could overheal to 40/15.

Amazing Jam! Love the art and the turn-based gameplay, I just wish there were more clear instructions. Keep up the great work!

Graphics were okay. The rest needs a lot of work.
