I found the story to be interesting and in accordance with the theme. I only think it would have benefitted from more details in the second phase and better placed event tiles sometimes. Keep going though!

You never really know what is real and what is not even in real life, now do you ?

Did you write all the code and made all the assets from scratch?
No, i did not i used the assets provided from rpg maker MZ to make the game all credits go to them

Sadly I had the same issues as IcedLead,
img/characters/Orv%C3%A6nta.png
You have a special character in the filenames, and (I guess) my OS could not handle that. But after replacing the backticked L to æ it worked. It has another issue in the img/faces folder, but letter replacing solved that.

However, nice game, great work.

Not a fan of turn based rpgs but the characters dialogues were funny and the ending, well I didn't expect that.

**SPOILERS**

Wow nobody is talking about that ending, I was expecting him to wake up from some sort of dream but I wasnt expecting THAT. Maybe have the man that sacrifices you appear a little more throughout the story to build up the twist more, and change the audio in the final room and make the final room darker maybe for a more dramatic effect, overall well done!
