This game idea was only on sheet over the last year in pairs with a friend. Put aside during monthes, this project was taken up, reimagined and totally transformed for Clickteam's "The Matrice" game jam.

The game is amazing, I wasn't even influenced when I rated this entry :)

It was a bit hard and without help it could have taken me hours to finish it, but thanks for helping me and congrats on this awesome and sweaty original idea!

I really like the meta aspect of this project. Wasn't a huge fan of the butterfly part, since it switched up the feel of the game a lot (sequence puzzle vs accuracy check), but didn't detract from the game as a whole.

I'd love to see some more of what you come up with!

Thank you for your comment. I didn't expect to have any ^_^" And if I understand correctly, you have you finished the game? And without help? Well done.!! This little game, closer to a simulation than a real "standard" game, is not easy. Solving the cube path riddle is incredible, so I wanted to congratulate you for doing it. The "butterflies" part is a little out of step with the rest of the game, it's true, but it's also a part that has fun with disturbing optical effects that ultimately would make the player wonder about his own humanity (since he has a visual calibration). This short game is divided into 4 small and very different steps: access to the opening of the office (weird Windows control), find the way to the cube (difficult understanding, and have to be resolved IRL), visual calibration of the player (classic and only virtual/in-game) and simulation on itch (just let it go by itself). I don't expect a lot of players to make it to the second stage, as the Meta side can be confusing, but I'm glad that this aspect is exactly what you liked the most. If you want to try something else of my own in this type of meta-fun, I recommend EnantiO which remains an extremely short game in itself, with only one thing to do, but which has everything to block the players who don't think "outside the box" (a solution with progressive clues remains available on itch.io, but I advise you to really try the experience without it). Thanks again.
