i am having the exact same issue, and my game version is one of the game versions supported by this mod. i’ve been trying to get this mod to work for weeks, can you tell me what the problem is?? everything i’m doing is right, it just won’t show up in game, but it does in my mods on the opening screen. i also made sure that the mod is no more than ONE folder deep in the mods folder, i put the “wonderfulwhimsmod” folder directly into my mods folder. like i said i’m doing everything right and it still doesn’t work. can you please help me with whatever else i can do to fix this?

I'm gonna need an exact number of your game version.

sorry for the late reply.

my game version is: 1.81.72.1630

to my understanding, this game version is supported by this mod

Are you sure the files are in the right place, not a backup copy of your Mods folder or a Cloud copy?

how do i check if there are other copies?

where could they be in case i do have them?

You'd know if you made a backup copy of the folder.

If the file path looks like this Documents/Electronic Arts/The Sims 4/Mods then you're in a correct place.

If it looks different then it's either a backup copy you've made, or possibly you're working with a cloud copy (iCloud/OneDrive/Google Drive) instead of a local folder on your PC, and not actually making any changes, which is a common mistake.

I know that I’m putting it in the right folder though. I have made sure multiple times. even one time I tried taking a piece of required files out, and when i went in game, it said i have a missing script mod. so that means my game is recognizing that i’m trying to install a new mod but i didn’t do it right. when i make sure all the right files are in the right places, it still doesn’t want to work, idk what is going on and why this is happening

Are both .package and .ts4script files there?

yes they are
