Are you sure the files are in the right place, not a backup copy of your Mods folder or a Cloud copy?

how do i check if there are other copies?

where could they be in case i do have them?

You'd know if you made a backup copy of the folder.

If the file path looks like this Documents/Electronic Arts/The Sims 4/Mods then you're in a correct place.

If it looks different then it's either a backup copy you've made, or possibly you're working with a cloud copy (iCloud/OneDrive/Google Drive) instead of a local folder on your PC, and not actually making any changes, which is a common mistake.

I know that I’m putting it in the right folder though. I have made sure multiple times. even one time I tried taking a piece of required files out, and when i went in game, it said i have a missing script mod. so that means my game is recognizing that i’m trying to install a new mod but i didn’t do it right. when i make sure all the right files are in the right places, it still doesn’t want to work, idk what is going on and why this is happening

Are both .package and .ts4script files there?

yes they are

Alright, shoot us an email with a screenshot of your Mods folder (not a pic taken with your phone please!)

i also just installed the woohoo wellness mod and it works perfect in my game it took me the first try of downloading it and it work. so there definitely isn’t anything wrong with my game, the wonderful whims mod is most likely the problem. i also noticed that even when i delete all of my wonderful whims files to try reinstalling the mod, it still shows the package and script files on my main menu screen in the list of mods. idk how that’s possible if the wonderful whims mod was deleted from my mods folder
