The oven door is way too hard to unlock. I have the oven knobs set to the EXACT code, but it is saying 'not the right angles'. Compare. It shouldn't be this hard to open an oven, I could have got 3 escapes if it weren't for this, but I have escaped 2 times out of 6.
This game is very fun, it's not really that frustrating but it's kinda annoying when you gotta restart the game when the code doesn't work, other than that, the game is an awesome and would be fun to try speedrunning it. Can't wait til the patch next week!
Ah, that’s good to hear! I actually fixed a bug in boy’s computer code which only occurs when you pause the game before seeing the picture.png and it ruins the connection to oven code.
I don’t know if you did that exact scenario or not; however, I did patched some other stuff as well. That might’ve been the reason.
Debugging sure is sometimes complicated.
You are either very unlucky or there is something wrong in one of the versions. Which platform are you playing on?
(Edit: I’ve looked into the codes the other day and everything seems to work! I really have no idea what’s causing this. I might remove or replace this puzzle if more players struggle with it…)
Tried twice today and also double checked oven degrees multiple times but still doesn't seem to work. I'm on browser, don't know if it's related. Just wanted to let you know and I'm pretty sad cause I was really enjoying the gameplayy I would love to finishh it - I might try to download it and see if it changes.
The first time I did everything you said in the thread that could make it bug without realising lol: I paused before having seen the code on the computer and I also clicked the AC buttons; second time after reading the thread I just quickly did everything in order to check whether oven code was working this time or not and I don't remember doing anything particularly weird since I already knew what i needed to do... now I'm curious, I'm gonna play once more trying to pay more attention to what I do if it bugs again
