I just downloaded the latest version and the image is displayed for a few seconds, and then it looks like the screen is covered by a black frame, as I can notice that it keeps rendering the animation on the edges, I can't move the window, but I can see the options and if I enable transparency it disappears completely, activating the singularity effect I can see a little on the screen, but it looks choppy, and sometimes the application crashes and closes.
Thanks for the comment, from your screencap it looks to me like there's no sound coming from the input you've selected. Most of the visualisers will be blank unless there's sound being played through them.
Have you enabled your sound card's playthrough device? It will be in the recording devices (you may need to right click and choose "Show disabled devices" to see it), and if you've got a realtek sound card it'll be called "Stereo Mix".
With some music playing, try going through the list of input devices in visualistar and see what happens?
That's a very good point. I'll add a way of moving the window without the middle mouse button, sorry about that.
In the meantime, the config XML in the Visualistar directory has window position and size values you can modify. At the top you should see the "Common" element looking something like this:
<Common startMaximised="false" lastWidth="1080" lastHeight="1080" lastX="24" lastY="-9" alwaysOnTop="false" lastAudioDevice="1"/>
You can close the program, change the lastX and lastY values, and when you restart the window position will be what you set.
Hopefully this will be helpful!
