Kind of! Some parts of it are more fireproof than others... there are services created specifically for file storage, and those sometimes disappoint too, but I trust them more than Discord, with its You're Viewing Older Messages notification that pops up as soon as you scroll ten messages up and shows up exactly how much regard they have for not constantly living in the present. Not that I didn't also fall for the allure of easy infinite file-sharing in the past... I'll have to back up my Discord conversations too, eventually. There's way too much good prose in there to go to waste.
