I really loved this game, all of the mechanics fit really well together. I specifically liked being able to trick enemies into falling into pits, that was super satisfying. The variety of enemies was nice and the metriodvania aspect was really cool. I specifically liked the Helmet's power (not going to spoil it), I was surprised and really enjoyed it. Nice use of the Kenny 1-bit art (I've used it myself several times). I also loved the theming of "The Armor of God". In February I made a game of the same name and similar concept. Isn't it wonderful how God works? I had no idea that someone else had done a game in the similar vane with almost the same asset pack! lol I definitely want to give it a try and I will (I'm also recording my playthroughs and putting them on youtube so it will take me a bit) and will also play your jam entry.
