Ah fair enough, then try combining the hint with your map (note the red grid with numbers and letters)

No the blue key is for a different house. If you can use an inventory item anywhere, the game will let you know :)

sorry I am just too dumb for this :-(
I dont get it

Like I got to that location.
dont really remember what was there but I remember picking it up way earlier.
or dont remember where to use it.

Edit: it seems to hinting at that frozen pickaxe but no idea what to do about it.
cant really pick that up or anything.
and there isnt really anything in the area above it (at least now it is)

I'm so sorry, I just found that there was indeed a bug with the keys. The blue key accidently had the same ID as the other key, so when you collected it and saved, the game thought the other key was also already collected, so it didn't respawn when loading the game again.

Thanks so much for helping me find this bug, and sorry for the inconvenience :)

Please download the new version and the issue should be fixed (the key should now actually be at the spot B4).

I downloaded it and saved the new version in a new folder.
Started the exe and loaded the save file, but key is still gone.

guess I'll just start a new game there :-/

Edit: one cant somehow edit the savefiles (where are they saved in that folder?)
and jsut edited the needed key into the inventory, can I?

edit2: nevermind, the savegame worked fine, key was there after all :-)

nice, nice. many new areas to explore with the new grappling hook.

made it also to the library and such places.

one thing I am not sure if it's a bug:
the yellow mushroom guy seems to give more than 1 page in total.

like I got to him , gave him the shrrom and he gave me a page.
after that he wanted to be kept in peace.
after a bit going around in the area I visited him again and he gave me the wquest reward again.

and possibly again.

maybe it' linked to dying and/or saving the game but I definitely got the quest reward more than once.

could also be that I got the reward but then died before saving, so he got reset to the time before I finished the quest.
while I still had the page since you basically dont lose anything, even if you dont make it back to a save point.

just my thought but I am quite sure he rewarded me more than once for the quest :-)

aside from that, really nice.

I am currently eager to get enough grass for the weird alcoholic bevarage but I only got 3 of them, would need 4 and dont have the slightest idea where i originally picked it up. the pub dude suggested in the east, so i gotta look there again :-)

Very nice, glad the key issue got resolved and you could see the rest of the game :)

The mushroom/page reward thing sounds indeed like another bug, but at least it doesn't break anything. Thanks again for pointing it out!

Have fun with the remaining parts of the demo :)

have more or less explored the most part of it to the point where I need to open the big door. namely I need to solve the puzzle left of it.

any hints on where I could find the solution, like at what coordinates? ;-)

Ok so for the puzzle left to it, did you already get across the 3 rocks puzzles inside the water?

that is the one I am meaning to solve.
I just dont really get where the eye of the vulture is.
like , aside from the creepy statue, there isn't really anything memorable in that valleas far as I remember nor does it contain any of the used symbols.
maybe I am jsut overlookign something though, like usual :-)

god I am stupid! -.-

I totally forgot about the wheel of destiny, that one sure is associated with the water rock puzzle, isn't it?

even though it ain't remotely in the vulture though

So yeah, sadly reached the end of the demo.
Still have a bunch of unused keys left, including the crypt one.

Looking forward to the full game! :-)

by the way, it seems like the pages do respawn over (a long) time which probably isn't intended :-)

Very nice, thanks for persevering through everything :)

Your feedback and findings were already very helpful and I'll do my best to integrate it into the next version and eventually the full release :)

No problems, was a quite enjoyable game :-)

little preset towards bug fixing:
if you are in water (not waterfall but just a simple area of water) and are basically underwater, you normally rise upwards until you hit the surface where obviously the upwards speed should stop.

however say you go a bit below the surface and press tab to open the map.
if you keep the map open, the game still continues and you float upwards.
however, as long as the map is open, the upwards movement isnt stopped at the water surface but you just continue rising until you close the map. then the floating stops.

so by basically holding the map open, from inside the waterinitially, you can basically float indefinitely upwards.
makes no sense to do in waterfalls as you rise up in them anyways(by the way, a slightly downwards force would make more sense in waterfalls).
but in normal water you can rise way above it that way.

havent really tested it much or found any good way to use this profitably as in msot cases you rise to like 50 feet above the water and then drop down and basically die from the fall before you even hit the water again.
the camera obviously doesnt follow you either, so you dont even see yourself falling down again.
havent tested out if you would actually float through solid things with this method but so far I see no practical reason to misuse this.
as it doesnt get you anywhere and water can basically only be found in the caverns anyways.

might be funny though to see if there is something hidden way above the caverns, even jsut to get to see it on the map.

but yeah, you wanna make sure the upward movement stops at the water surface even if the map is open :-)
just a funny thing I found while in water and wanted to look for the next way to go :-)

Edit: You REALLY wanna fix the water float thing.
I am currently walking around in the area above the "emerald desposit" marked on the map, so yeah...

you can actually cheat quite a bit with it, even though it currently is still pointless for the msot part :-)

hey, for the 4 bells puzzle can you jsut downright give me the answer please?

I seriously cannot distinguish high and low notes.
I obviously can recognize that this is another note than this one.
but if the given note is higher or lower than another one?
no idea.
I jsut cant recognize it unless its like a really high vs a really low note.

so yeah, the 3 bell puzzle was more trying different combinations .
but the 4 bells one makes me wanna give up.

like I know that the bells are low to high from left to right (cause even I can hear a increasing note height).
and I kind of know the pattern to be played.
but I cant associate which note of these 4 heights is wish one in the pattern.
I jsut really su ck at this stuff.
no idea how people do this O_o

Sure thing, thanks for letting me know. Being a musician myself I already anticipated that I might make the sound puzzle too hard :D

The sequence is 1-4-4-3-2-4

However, spoiler, the puzzle should not necessarily be required for progression at this point.
