I posted a game on r/Solarpunk on Reddit and this was the Moderator bot automessage and I thought it interesting to bring up:

It is used to describe the practice of companies launching adverts, campaigns, products, etc under the pretense that they are environmentally beneficial/friendly, often in contradiction to their environmental and sustainability record in general.
