this game idea is great ; the combo controller idea is smart; but,,,,, you need some guide level before players to play really levels; It is hard to figer out how to jump the first platform; anyway; nice work for tow days combie those together : )
Really unique mechanic of combining together keys to form one action. The tank level was really frustrating and sometimes the controls kind of made my hand hurt from spamming inputs. Otherwise a really cool and unique game, well done!
Game looks good, plays pretty damn fun once you get the hang of it. Takes some getting used to. I would love to see some more complex (i.e. nonlinear) level design and maybe another look at the combat. Right now it seems the only guaranteed way to kill enemies safely is to sneak up behind them or jump their bullets. An aiming system or leaning more heavily into stealth elements could be interesting.
Its really cool what a simple change as executing basic platformer controls into a 2 button job does for the game experience. Executing a jump and attack felt like an accomplishment! It might be interesting to incorporate cooler moves with a longer combo if you decide to update this later on.
I do think the hard reset to the beginning is a little too challenging, a health system might have been a little more forgiving, especially since the sword/spike thing can kill you.
The gun shot sound is oddly satisfying and familiar, overall, good job on the game :)
Really cool main mechanic, hitting a chain of Q-W-Space-W-E-Space to jump and shoot an enemy felt super satisfying.
