I think it may have to do with fullscreen vs. windowed. Can you try painting again using windowed mode? Thanks.

i tried again full screen and windowed and both times the pic came out like this http://imgur.com/waaugpn now.instead of light they are dark

Simon, I have an idea to test. Open this image (http://i.imgur.com/QjBOWA4.png) in a photo viewer and place it on top of the Rust window. Try to align it so the palette in the image is close to being on top of the Rust palette. Now try Rustangelo and capture the Controls Area in the photo. Thanks.

http://imgur.com/GMxTPTi i see what ur getting at.ours arent the same size http://imgur.com/7LdgUUX got colours using ur picture.not exactly right but better.i thought it might be because im running at 720 but i tried it at 1080 and still get the problem

The size shouldn't matter. Just make sure you are capturing the Controls Area in the picture, not in the game. Or is that what you tried?

that time i captured the picture.and it gave me the colours

http://imgur.com/gF87l1i i lined up the picture as best as i could then selected the pallette in the picture then switched back to game and thats how it was alligned

Awesome! The next version has an option that will fix this issue since this latest test worked. And did you try painting?

yeah it came out alot better. im not sure why it happened because the first day it worked fine for me.
