While I have you here, I wanted to get some feedback about the Patreon integration.

Right now we don't have a good process for how we handle when people stop being patrons. Do you think that itch.io download keys should be revoked as soon as we identify that someone is no longer a patron? I thought this initially made sense, but then I realized that it might not be fair to someone who may have been a patron for a few months and has given you a significant amount of money.

On the other end, Patreon has this issue where you can pledge to give money, get access to someone's posts, and then immediately cancel before any money is taken out of your account. How do you think itch.io should handle this when determining if someone is eligible for a download key? Are you concerned about this? At the moment we let people immediately get access as soon as they become a patron, even if they haven't been charged yet. I'm talking to Patreon directly about how to handle this. If we do put some sort of time limit before they claim on itch.io then someone who is a new patron might get upset that they can't get access so something that they'll eventually pay for.

I think:

1- I think keys shouldnt be revoked if they stoped beign patrons. They should stay on their itchio account since they already paid for it.

2- For me this is not a problem since patreon charges upfront to my supporters. In my understanding Supporters are charged as soon as they become patrons since I set my campaing to charge as soon as they become patrons. I'm not sure if there's a delay between charging supporters and marking them as supporters. Let me know what you find out.
