Yes, after some people have played the Windows version. I was expecting there might be bugs to fix.

Hi, I'd like to try out the Linux demo but now I've extracted it I have no idea how to launch it. Is there a particular file or program i need to launch it through? Thanks

I would try installing and launching using the Itch.io app. I could never figure out which file was the executable with their engine.

It should be the file jesterking_demo, I launch it from the terminal with ./jesterking_demo

Thank you both for replying!

When trying to run jesterking_demo I get this error:

(jesterking_demo:1807): Pango-ERROR **: 22:45:07.115: Harfbuzz version too old (1.4.2)
Trace/breakpoint trap (core dumped)

To my knowledge I have version 2.6.4-1ubuntu4 installed (on Ubuntu 20.04).

I might try the itch.io app and see if that fixes things

I gave it as try and got the same error on my Linux Mint 20.3 system which is based on Ubuntu 20.04. I am going to install Manjaro on a spare SSD as a test and see if the issue happens there as well. Have to go to work soon so may be 24 hours before I reply with a result.

So i tried on my Manjaro system and good news was I didn't receive an error about Harfbuzz but I did get several errors regarding  links to themes instead. Very strange. I tried it on my Trisquel system but had the Harfbuzz error which didn't surprise me as Trisquel 10 is based on Ubuntu 20.04 same as Linux Mint 20.3.
