Great entry!

The movement was unique and well done. Took a little getting used to but I ended up really liking it.

I wish there was a keyboard shortcut to continue to the next level - having to swap from keyboard to mouse was a little frustrating just to continue.

The button sound was quite loud compared to all the other sounds. I had to turn my volume down quite a bit which made the music hard to hear.

The end of the level screen says "DEATS", should it be "DEATHS"?

I had fun playing this one. Good job!

Nice idea and nice execution. Some thoughts:

  • I like the blue color scheme, and the red color gives a nice contrast.
  • I like the font design for the row and column labels. The thickness of the strokes and the serifs give it a nice oomph, reminding me of stone-carved text. (I’m particularly fond of the number 7 with its vertical line and top serif.)
  • It’s nice that you maneuver through the field by taking small, calculated steps.
  • The levels thankfully don’t try to surprise you with some previously hidden danger.
  • As a consequence of the above two points, the game feels fair: if I die, then it’s clear to me why I died, and why it’s my fault.

Some suggestions:

  • It should be possible to start the level via keyboard. (If this is already possible, then I couldn’t find out how.) Taking my hands off the keyboard only to make a single click doesn’t fit the rest of the keyboard-centered controls.
  • The player figure is a triangle, but most of the time this triangle is somewhat distorted and non-symmetrical even when standing still. I found this distracting. I also think that it doesn’t fit the rest of the game, where everything else has very clearly defined and fixed shape.
  • The direction in which the conveyor belts turn the triangle seems counterintuitive to me. I’d suspect the tip of the triangle to show into the direction of the conveyor belt, not against it.

Pretty clean! A way to speed up the game globally may have alleviated a bit of the tedium of restarting when I was so close, but I suppose that that's just my impatience speaking ;)

It's wild how just placing the player in a different starting position and altering their control scheme to something like this can have such a profound effect. Nice stuff! I'd have liked to see more interactive elements, but discovering the quirks of the movement and bouncing along to the little backing track was *chef's kiss*.

Got really glad when I saw a 'dungeon crawler' among the entries! Really fun concept and nice control scheme. I really enjoyed the danger indication when you made a misstake and the panic it resulted in.
As previously have been mentioned I also had an issue seeing if it was a V or a U.

Game utilizes a really interesting control scheme that is a challenge at first, but as you play more you get used to it pretty fast. I liked that the player actually moves and not "snaps" to the grid you click on, this lets you do diagonal movement. Also I loved the artstyle, the SFX were also fitting.

As for improvements, I really can't think of many but, perhaps, maybe in later levels add more "boards" so you have to control more than one character at the same time - this would also fit more into the theme. All in all - enjoyable.

Big ups to the coordinate controls! It's something I have never seen or played before, and made the game very fun for me to play! Great minimal soundtrack with SFX! If I were to add anything to the game, I would recommend adding in alternate endings, as it makes the game replayable. Other than that good job on this one!

Excellent game and challenging! 

Here is my feedback:

What do I like? 
- I enjoyed the mechanics and the gameplay of the game
- Nice usage of the theme and restrictions (You messed up the colours limitation with the effect you are using, at least you were when I played the game!)
- Excellent level design
- Excellent player feedback
- Nice music and SFX 

To Fix:
- The shape/light that is flashing, I think it should be as same size as one cell
- The letter "U" seemed a bit like a "V" in the hud 

Suggestions:
- Maybe, display the number of the current level and total levels (Ex, Level: 3/15)
- Maybe, add the ability to use the Numpad
- Possibly, show how long did I spend to finish the stage (this would make the game more fun)
- Maybe, if the player is trying to move to a place where isn't able to move to it, the shape/light that is flashing change it's colour to something else, for example, red
- Maybe, if the player collided with the enemy from the sides or the back, destroy the enemy
- Maybe, make the start button on the main menu like a real button, i.e. the game starts like any button, and when I press it, the start button goes down
