Awesome take on the classic snake! The new mechanics added an interesting challenge while keeping it fresh.  The music and sound effects fit the game really well, nice job!

This was one if not the best games I played in the jam so far. I must say, I am not a big fan of puzzle games, but this didn't put me away from trying the game out. I was pleasantly surprised by how polished, well made the levels were and the game mechanic. Even the text was groovy, indicating the various buttons you are supposed to click. Calm classical background music also fit in well. Moreover the story also had wise quotes subtly explaining the game mechanics. I loved it! (Unfortunately I stopped at the 2 blue doors and 1 white door level, since my puzzle solving skills aren't that great)

The only criticism I have for this game is weird "Borders". It kinda hits the otherwise beautiful and minimalistic style of the game.  And maybe the theme "Multi" wasn't very clear on this game. I guess you can say the body consists of multi blocks?

Thanks, enjoyed it a lot! Keep going!

Thanks so much! I'm glad that this methodology ended up working on at least someone... I was getting worried by the results of my family members.

Yeah, splitting yourself into multiple pieces was the thematic concept. Thanks for playing! I think I'll keep expanding this one. : )

Brilliant innovative concept of the old snake game! I absolutely love the way you merged the tutorial of the game with the story! The music and sound effects fit the game very very well! I got stuck when the traveler level came, so I wasn't able to progress further. Due to my colorblindness, it was hard for me to distinguish between the colors of the gates. I would suggest you to have used a little different color for the background instead of plain black. Otherwise, great game! I had a lot of fun playing it!

Hey, thank you very much!

Sorry about the color issue... if I continue this it should be easy to change, as (almost) everything colored is controlled by the same single variable.

Can I ask what you tried on the traveler level? The game really only starts there, so if possible I'd like to leave a note on the game's page to help ease future players into it and use a hint that you may have been able to.

So far I've tried:

  • Make a block by the snake eating itself over the blue star and place the traveler over it
  • Take the traveler to the white star by leaving it on that block/platform

I don't have any idea on what else to try. Any help would be great! Thanks for your concern!

You both need to be at your goals simultaneously, if that wasn't clear.
