Thanks so much! I thought I had one more day for the assets ðŸ¤£. Once the people have filled up the need for the room they're in, they pick their most urgent needs, consider the distance required to fill those needs, then pick one probabilistically. I used A* to generate a list of positions, then the person's position is updated along that path in the Update function.

Oooooh thank you for the tips! Definitely going to experiment with this type of game one day.
