I have tried uploading both a downloadable game and and html5 build to the project. The load and then restart until eventually it gives me an error message. Anyone else having this issue?

Check the Discord, this is an issue we're all facing at the moment. The creator of the jam has said it's fine to just submit through itch.io since gamejam.com is having issues.

New submission time is in 6 hours on itch.io. gamejam.com submission is no longer necessary

So just to confirm, games no longer have to be submitted to gamejam.com to be played by the streamers / considered for awards?

Hello! I published my game 20 hours ago on itch.io (https://aquabear.itch.io/portaball), by when i uploaded zip file on gamejam.com i always get error. Now i cant send game, because project submission is closed. What should I do?

My problem is: I uploaded my game not as submission to itch jam, because I couldn't do it in time because of gamejam site problems. But now I'm not able to make a submission because of time, besides the fact I had my game ready much earlier. Question is - can I still participate in jam? I have my game on Itch and it was uploaded in time of submissions period

After the game jam problem they gave 6 more hours to submit on Itch.io Thats when I submitted my game because every one was facing that gamejam.com issue so they gave 6 more hours but now there is no way to submit. try emailing or message the Score space.
