I like the fact that every ghost has a small part of the backstory which isn't obviously connected but

still is, because we're talking about the same person. And I really enjoy the art style.

Awesome, really glad you enjoyed each of the ghosts and the art style. :)

I almost cried haha such a lovely game!

Almost only counts in horseshoes. Get back in there and have a good cry! (so glad you enjoyed the game though)

This is one of the cutest games I have ever played - I love the music, the characters, the visuals (AH IT'S CUTE AND I LOVE IT). The story warmed my heart and reminds me of people I've lost - in a way that makes me smile widely. I just love this entire game!

That's awesome! That is 100% what we were going for. :)

The writing, aesthetic and sound design is what make this game so much powerful. Each character is unique and fun to talk to which make you don't want to miss each piece of their dialog. Overall this submission deliver great experience and a must play for this jam.

We're glad you enjoyed each of the characters!

To describe this game in one word; character. Seriously, I was truly blown away by the sheer amount of personality you were able to convey in such a short timeframe, both in the length of the game and the time you had for the jam.

I absolutely adore the art style and I felt like every ghost truly matched with their personality. Not only that, but everything just seems to fit together so fluently, from the beautiful music (which I found myself accidentally humming along to after a couple of minutes :p), the amazing art and story, all the way down to the little things like the text animations and the vivid descriptions of small things in and around the house; it all worked together to build this beautiful, but somewhat sad world.

After finishing the game, I am left with a somewhat empty feeling, longing for more, which I normally only experience after longer games, so for me to have built such a bond with the characters in this short amount of time is truly amazing; I hope to one day be able to write stories like these. You both did a great job on this fantastic game!

Thank you so much. This means a lot!

The story was beautiful. The mom had some good dark humor not gonna lie >;}

Thanks! I'm glad you enjoyed the story. We put a lot of love into it. :)

It was such a sweet game, the dialogue effects added character. The music in the background was nice and I loved the story behind it and I thought that the little ghosts were very cute and fun to interact with.

Awesome! Really happy you liked those ghosts.

I like the graphics and sound.. really nice game... I like the dialogs and the text effects that you apply to them. Good job.

Beautiful game. It seems I still have a heart, look at that! Everything is perfect and feels so polished.  The scripting was great, you've got to make me laugh several times. A very respectable game for a two-week gamejam, I'm glad I came across it. Great work, keep it up!

Developer

Made someone realize they had a heart AND laugh? I think we've accomplished our goals here. :)

Top notch, even though I'm not a fan of the genre, I can say that it was a very nice experience. Nice work keep up! Family work for the win!
