1. Hi there! What's your name? Want to introduce yourself?

Hello my name is jonathan but i go by kyperbelt on the internet. I like to make games as a hobby but i want it to become more than that one day.

2. Did you participate in the last jam we held? If so, what do you plan on doing better this time? If not, what's your reason for joining?

Yes. This time around i joined to get my brother into game development. He has been helping me from time to time with making game assets  but this will be the very first time he is actually active in the development process.

3. What games are your favorites? Did any of them inspire you, or made you want to make your own?

I love jrpgs and strategy games. Growing up on Pokemon and Starcraft was pretty awesome and the starcraft campaign editor was what initially inspired me to make games. I have been making them on an off for about 10 years now but never got serious until now.

4. Do you have experience with game development? What did you do/with what engine?

I dont  have any industry experience and have never released a game. I have participated in several game jams over the past year though so thats something right?

My poison of choice is using the Libgdx Framework. It takes care of multi-platform deployment for me and it is also in java which i am proficient in.

5. Tell us about something you're passionate about!

I enjoy watching my kids play my shitty games. lol.

6. What are your goals for this game jam?

Hopefully my brother and i can create something special that will stand the test of time.. haha jk we just want to finish get some more experience under our belts. Jamming gives me an adrenaline rush.

7. Any advice to new jammers (if you're a veteran)?

Id say in the short time that i have been jamming that the most important thing is to get proper rest. I know it is said time and time again but that is for very good reason. Also take breaks and stretch.
