Have tried the demo for a bit...

From what i saw, the maps are beautifully made if a little too big for my personal taste.

The party regulary talks to eachother, wich gives all of the characters a good feel to them, as they all seem equally important rather than having one MC alone.

The dungeon uses random encounters, wich is fine but not my cup of tea. The combat menu seems to be messed up a bit. It's all very small and the ATB bars vanish behind other UI elements.

The game uses a quest log system and a sort of "adventurers guild" type of thing. It feels like an RPG (wich it obviously is) but i felt a little overwhelmed by being thrown into it so fast.

Balance seems to be off. Or i happened to progress too fast? I can't tell. Ended up in a frozen room with floating platforms (As seen in one of the screenshots) and got stomped by 4 Ice scorpions on level 2.

There are a few typos and other grammar errors, but that's something to easily ignore in a demo.

Overall it's interesting and fun to play, if a little cliche.  Hope the story will have some good twists in the future.

Personally i enjoyed the beautifully made maps the most. Second place has to be the interactions between the characters. Would have been nice to know them a little more before they got sucked in.

Least enjoyable thing was the random encounters.

Hope the feedback helps! You got a good thing going on here.

Thank you for playing, The counters are planned not random. ( which is also not my cup of tea).
You are right the Scorpians are a tad on the harder side.. but that is the only unbalanced thing, of which I have since changed for the final build of the game. The Ui I feel could do with some clearance yes, currently looking into it.

The demo allows the player to seek all the mechanics in the game early on, and most will be seen in the dungeons.

The guild is optional.
Thank you for playing my Demo, I will take on  your feed back. I'm excited that you liked the characters, there is alot more to come from them.

I hope you can exlpore the town more, at your  own pace, It is designed  so that you can keep coming back to visit with changes based on player progression. ( ever evovling).

Thank you Harlekin!

Oh so there are invisible, pre-determined encounters on the map? Interesting concept, if a little pointless imo. I don't know why you chose to do it that way but you made it feel like random encounters sadly.

I liked the characters, yes. But it felt a little off how confident they are in just being sucked into a game. I would have expected a longer conversation from the party. One member might have a panic attack? Maybe I'm just too old but i felt they gave the whole situation too little thought.

Really congratulations on those maps though! Beautifully made.

It's a diffcult mix of to much dialogue and too little...

There teenagers, there excited lol!
The point of placing the encounters is so that the EXP and the leveling is controlled with 10% player influence on leveling. For example.
You may or may not defeat the final Demo boss on your first try. This is the 10% differance. The players are heavily rewarded for exploring.
No fun being level 40 because you grinded slimes, to take out a boss in 1 hit? so thats why the encounters are controlled.

I will look into mobs on screen. If I feel I have enough resources, then sure why not.
