An odd entry... The relation to the theme is a tad weak, but that not the biggest problem. The platforming seems to be a tad broken... Wall jumps are difficult to do (I don't even know if that's a mechanic), and sometimes, I can jump infinitely in the air. The kraken gets stuck on walls a lot as well! Still, it makes the game challenging, if anything. With a bit of polish, this could be a good game~

This was my first attempt at a platformer so I definitely agree that the platforming is pretty broken. Wall jumps actually weren't originally intended but as I was playtesting I realized that they were possible, although not the most effective and pretty challenging as you mentioned. The one thing that I do have to disagree with you on is how well it fits into the theme. With a theme like this that's so open-ended I really like seeing all of the vastly different ways that people interpreted it and I certainly feel that the dual purpose aspects of both movement and the treasure chests align with the theme of the jam.
