Cool Game! I had difficulty hitting flying enemies. Not sure what was happening with my attacks, but it felt like they only connected a fraction of the time. Liked the character though! and I'm a sucker for platformers.

This was a fun little game. I really liked that small sword that the duck carried. I also noticed the glow lighting you had with the spikes and while it looked cool, I think it didn't fit the art style of the game and made the spikes look neon and futurustic-ish. The others have mentioned the UI offsets but I didn't really encounter much of that so I can't say much about that. Good game overall, some assets kinda mismatched the style but cool overall. Add a little bit of story to it and a few more creative game-play elements and you've got yourself an actual, well-developed game.

This game was really nice and I loved the gameplay concept, but this game needed a huge amount of polishing in order for me to truly experience enjoyment in this game. Here are the problems I found:

  • Most of the visuals were really bright and also didn't match each other. I noticed the duck and the mobs were in pixel art, but the background and ground were in another type. Also, on the second level, some areas were so bright to the point where I had to turn down my brightness and I didn't even notice there were spikes, which caused me to die a few times.
  • The camera following was pretty decent at first, but when it came down to trying to figure out what was below my character, I couldn't even see or notice, which caused my death because there ended up being spikes. This made my gameplay less enjoyable.
  • The music was pretty loud to the point where I had to turn it down a bit. I felt the music kind of fit the game somewhat and it was soothing and filled with action though.
  • I feel most of the gameplay was not explained enough. I was extremely confused on what was the purpose of collecting the white eggs as, to me it served no purpose towards my health or combat or score.
  • The font also wasn't really matching with the art style of the game. It wasn't in a pixel style form if that's the outlook you were trying to accomplish in the game.
  • Lastly, there were a lot of offset UI elements and missing UI's. I feel it would of been nice to have a health bar UI and an egg score UI. The UI was really offset in the controls section because I had to go fullscreen in order to press the start button and some of the text was offscreen. This also occurred in level 2 where the text said "Down down down"

These were all the problems I found about the game. If you polish this game up a whole lot, I feel it would be a really amazing and fun game to play.

This can become a cool platform game, it looks close to a full game. Just add a bit of visual-feedbacks on attacks and a less epic music (it dosen't fit well). Also the player/enemies and the BG sprites are too different from one another. Last-thing-last, the mouse for attack isn't a smart choice imo, maybe use a key like shift or ctrl.

true because it could be hard for people with laptop with no mouse.
