Can you try to place the game folder in a different location? Try your desktop.

The problem is that for some reason the game can't connect to your save file (Captivity_Data\StreamingAssets\xGameDB.db). That's also the reason why the options menu doesn't load properly.

I moved it to the desktop and still nothing, should I move that file anywhere?

If you are running antivirus software: can you check to make sure no files are getting quarantined/deleted by the antivirus software? Check if Captivity v1.0.1\Captivity_Data\Plugins\x86_64\sqlite3.dll is there.

It's still there

What about Captivity v1.0.1\Captivity_Data\Managed\Mono.Data.Sqlite.dll?

Still there oddly enough

Are you running antivirus software? If so, try to turn it off and unpack the zip file again. Do it in that order, too.

I just released v1.0.2 of the game. This update may fix your problem. Please try it out and let me know if it works. Thanks for your patience!

Hello, i'm someone with the exact same issue as this guy. I've updated the game to 1.02, and i've also made sure to unpack the game AFTER having turn window defender off ( the only anti-virus i use. ), but the game still give an infinite loading screen and a blank page when going into the options.

I use windows 10 64bit, if that help for anything.

Hmm... this is frustrating. I'm working on it right now. Thanks for commenting!

There should be a new download available for this game called SaveFileBugTest. Can you please download this and try to run the game and let me know if the issue doesn't happen in that version of the game? Also: please don't play that version for real in case it does work, it can crash.

If it doesnt work: do you see a red error at the bottom left of the screen? If so: what does it say?
