What did you mean when you said this in the limitation section? (quote in body)

"Screen shake isn't just the act of rapidly vibrating the camera, it is the use of one or more effects to add game feel to a game"

Does this mean any effect like particle systems, and motion blur? Or does it just mean camera effects like postprocessing and screen shake? I'm not fully sure what it meant by this.

The limitation specifically refers to the concept of screen shake (not the shaking the position of the camera). Other effects are allowed, it’s just mainly use of shaking the screen and or other effects to add impact to an action.

I hope that was clear, it probably wasn’t. If you understand what screen shake is, just dont use it.

Ah ok that clears things up. I can have effects to make things look nice, but I can't have effects that add impact to an action. Thanks!

So shaking everything on screen would count as screen shake but effects that would not be recognized as screen shake like, for example, a ripple effect would be allowed

if i moved the camera to follow the player for example, would that be allowed?

I'm pretty sure that's allowed because thats necessary for the player to follow through to the story. I believe they meant screen shake as a matter of trying to make the game feel realistic (Which they stated such as moving the position of the camera back and forth). I hope this helped!
