Beautiful game! I finally got it to work when I upgraded to Windows 10 and re-installed Oculus Runtime 8. I've got an older video card, so it may have been causing some issues or something. Works not bad still on my GTX 760 Ti. Good luck in the contest!

Nice visuals and sound! I was fascinated by the trees growing and was keeping planting them :)
And well done with the UI too, easy to use and robust.

I know now why the demo did not run on my machine. My anti virus (Avast) was blocking it!
This demo was fun. Best was playing with the point light in the created landscapes at night.

This is a great take on a world building experience! Very cool!

Hi Frooxius,

As a big fan of your work, I wanted to try this demo. Unfortunately, it does not even start on my system running
Windows 8.1 Pro, Nvidia 980 Ti (driver version 358.91) with 0.8 SDK or 0.7 SDK. Only getting an endless spinning wheel as a mouse cursor. Other recent VR experiences work fine and my own Unity projects work fine.

P.S.: I liked your podcast with Chris Miranda going down the rabbit hole :-)

No worries, I'm on Windows 7 currently with the 0.7.0 runtime.

Sorry for the issues, what system are you running on? If you're on Windows 10 I recommend to try the 0.8 SDK, but personally I've had nothing but trouble running Oculus Runtime on Windows 10 (had to downgrade back to 8.1).

I would love to try it as well but I'm unfortunately having the same issue as dignifiedweb. Looks like a really neat creative tool!

It looks absolutely wonderful! I tried playing your game, but it crashed. I'm not sure if it helps, but here's the Crash Dump:
