Loved the atmosphere in the game! I think increasing the font or putting the storytelling  more central, with a more pronounced sound effect, could have made that more immersive. Played through it multiple times but was kind of sad I got transformed in each ending, even when I did well according to the person in charge.

The shooting SFX was a bit too loud.

I think what I loved most however is the level you put together. While you used great assets for your game, it's clear you enjoyed yourself putting together the level with that tileset. I also see you made the cower animations of the creatures when you're close yourself. That really added to the oppressive atmosphere. Good job! One remark about the level would be that I didn't always get a good sense of direction on where to go and got lost at times, but I can definitely see that this could be by design :).

Really enjoyed the atmosphere and setting here! What are these creatures I'm killing? Why am I killing them? Why does the comms guy hate them so much? That little bit of mystery was enough for me to play multiple times. Great job!

I enjoyed this game. I like the pixel art and the sound compliments the atmosphere of the game.
I grasped the idea pretty quickly, played through for a different ending.
Good job! :-)

I felt terrified for the first half of the game, the music and atmosphere was just really scary. I was hoping the game would continue after you reach that final square, it would've been a really neat plot twist. Also, loved the narrator. The first time i killed everything (though quickly realized that they couldn't actually do anything to you), The second time i rushed through avoiding all of them and loved seeing the changes in dialog. The third time i killed one and rushed through but the dialogs were mostly the same. Ah, and the switch in music in that last section is a bit abrupt.

Really enjoyed this one (though the music and atmosphere were scarier than the actual contents of the game ;) ). I'd love to see it expanded, perhaps as another exterminator comes and you have to lead your new civilization to safety or something. I'd also like to see the horror aspect developed more!

nice short game! The sprites are well done.
One issue I had was that the game was visually very dark. Even after increasing my display brightness, it was hard to see things clearly.

Very, very cool. love the atmosphere and art style. The music was great (where was it from / who did it?) The whole thing gave me a Space Station 13 vibe, in the best possible way. Would love to see this expanded into some kind of story to stop the exterminators - you change into one of those black things then need to stop or convince exterminators to stop killing the black things, then potentially get the exterminators on your side, and turn on the corporation that's hiring them....

Could be a whole thing! I'd love to do music if you end up expanding it, although the ambient track at the moment is superb :)

Hey, thanks for playing! Listened to your portfolio - I'd love to have you on a future project! I may expand this game, but I am moving from C# to Rust in Godot and I don't particularly want to translate it to Rust lol. But maybe.

Anyways, here's the credits: https://git.sr.ht/~kmdodrill/exterminator/tree/master/README.md

Ok cool, look me up if you ever need music for a project, looking forward to seeing what you come up with next!
