Hi, I like your game mechanics, I might be able to help a bit (FYI, I am currently working overtime IRL). If you have a clear direction for the art style it would help, but I think it looks nice so far, it has a neon cyberpunk theme to it.

Hi Maxram0,

Thanks for reaching out :). I decided to settle for a brighter style (like Mirror's Edge and Superhot). Right now Im working on my static meshes (very easy to create). What I would need the most help with is creating the main character for the game (I suck at rigging, weight painting, unwrapping, etc).

If I cant find anyone else to help I will do what I can, but would certainly appreciate any help I can get :). If you like the style and think you might have time to contribute, post here or email me at

Check out the latest (hopefully) look of the game below:

Loving the evolution the game mechanic, Hope I can contribute something meaningful towards this project. I just got back from work and am tired, but I'll make something and post progress before work tomorrow hopefully. Just to confirm, am I in charge of the entire character production pipeline? if so do you want the character to be roughly the same size as the unreal mannequin, and uses the same skeletal mesh just in case I can't produce original animations in time?

Just heads up, I'll try my best, but can't promise what I'll produce will be great due to doing overtime for the next 17 days, long 11-12 hour work day, but your game concept looks awesome, so I'd love to be a part of it.

Hi Maxram0,

Im glad you like where the project is going and THANK YOU for helping while being so busy :). Yes, you are in charge of the creation of the main character. I'm creating all other static meshes (easy!) and already started creating the initial levels.

I had in mind a futuristic character (could be an android but it doesn't have to be - whatever you feel would go with the mechanics and aesthetics of the game). Please use the UE4 mannequin as a guide for the proportions and the UE4 skeleton so I can reuse it later :). As far as animations, they should be simple - walk, sprint, jump, hold / carry(for the blue cubes), and hold a gun.

Do you have an email I can use to contact you? I'm working on an early build of the game to send to the composer so he can get a feel for the game play while making the music and would love to send it to you as well :).

I have emailed you this morning after my research period, took a bit longer than anticipated, so we can correspond through that.
