Downloadable only okay?

My game is designed to only work full screen, so is downloadable only (no browser play).

Is that okay, or will it really hurt my chances of getting plays?

WebGL is definitely a more popular format but if you are actively playing and rating others you should be able to keep your karma up and get people to download and play/rate your game :)

It's a horror game and gamepad compatible (but also M+K). Most playtesters found a lot of the tension was removed in a window, so I took away the option. Hence no WebGL.

If you're actively rating games and the page for your game is appealing you will have no problems. My game is 2.4 GIGABYTES of download nd it already has 32 downloads from both randoms and people in the jam, assuming that will translate to ratings from the jammers in that cohort is very optimistic. If mine can do it asking people to download multiple gigabytes then any game can :P
