u dont need to be tech savy theres tons of distros out there that is similar to windows that u nbasicallly use windows without the bloat and spyware. search zorin os or linux mint those are some notable os thats similar enough
i dont have a computer to spare if i mess up this one, it might not be hard or difficult, but i dont trust on my skills, also i would have to change all and every program i use :/
any paid program u use has linux alt that is free and doesnt come with bloat, imo, its better. but u should search into it more before anything it is ultimately up to u if you wanna switch.
