Wow, that's fantastic work, a dream come true for me! It feels exactly like the original (which I still play in Sheepshaver now and then - I have a weakness for these quirky shareware RPGs of the golden Mac-era, titles like Jewels of Arabia, Cythera, Taskmaker, the Exile games...).

Are the scenarios fully playable or do they need registration?

yes! I also have the same weakness for those quriky RPGs of Golden-era Mac!! I own a vintage Mac just to play them on there :) God Bless both of you, thanks for the classic remake here!

All scenarios should be fully playable without being prompted for any registration codes.

I haven't tested all scenarios to completion, however. If you run into any bugs in any of the scenarios, let me know.

(about fun old shareware RPGs - I played Glen Andreas' Theldrow on a Mac Plus when I was very young, and only very recently played through Cythera. Cythera was very well done. Have you played Shadow Keep or Gang Wars? Those are fun too.)

(another "by the way" - MAME now emulates both 68k Macs and PowerPCs very well. I use it instead of SheepShaver/Basilisk II/Mini vMac for almost everything.)

I only just discovered the world of Mac-RPGs in fall of 2022. From then on I collected every RPG I could get hold of (and was astonished of how many of these shareware games are still sold) and created a "ready to play" package with Sheepshaver and Mini vMac. It took quite some time to find the perfect configuration for every game but it was more than worth the work. I'll try MAME (I've never worked with it before). Thanks!

I didn't play Shadow Keep and Gang Wars, no. I'll definitely take a stroll to Macintosh Garden to take a closer look at these two. Some others I very also enjoy: Nethergate, Scarabs of Ra, the Mac-exclusive Ultima III-Remake, Quarterstaff, Nemesis.
