one of the bosses has a vaguely garden themed name so i assume you gotta beat them. im at roughly the same place i feel stuck on getting to 10k power
Thanks, but I'm not entirely sure I'll be able to grind to that. I only have Battle Ready left from the portal upgrades and I'm at level 9. I get around 2.8k vortex points each jump and 100.000+150.000 points for the next 2 levels are way too boring to grind. The game definitely needs some balancing in this regard.
not that I suggest wasting time on this.... but....
you can churn through the bosses by grinding gear - if get the item drop & rarity rate up, fill up on items with good boosts (learn which boosts are good and which are crap, some start bad and get good later, or vice versa),
manually set a higher level to grind higher and higher, if the drop rate is tuned you can double your target level in a very short time, and just keep doing it
1 boss: Salvaging & Reforging unlock - 2 bosses: Buildings persist through portal jumps (This is were the game really speeds up, but not really) - 3 bosses: Loadouts unlocks. This is where I am at currently. I wish there was more information about the unlocks. Currently I need to portal jump 33 times with 3k essences each for the next upgrade (100.000 vortex points) I don't know what the 4th boss will unlock and frankly it is unnecessarily boring, clicking the same button 50 times to form body and portal jump almost instantly. This game needs a "buy all form bodies if you meet the requirements" option just like it has with obliterations.
